Leading Women's Retail and Personal Care Company seeking a Sourcing Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Manhattan, NY (In office 1-2 days per week)

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Sourcing Analyst to join our team. This role will support our beauty category, encompassing perfumes, mists, lotions, and more, for the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, with experience in personal care or manufacturing. The Sourcing Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and will be responsible for various sourcing activities and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFQs Management: Issue, approve, and follow-up on Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
  • Tooling Authorization Forms: Process Tooling Authorization Forms (TAF).
  • Sourcing Trackers: Update sourcing trackers regularly to ensure accurate records.
  • Purchase Orders: Update costing on purchase orders.
  • PCOG Creation Support: Pull costs from the system to support Product Cost of Goods (PCOG) creation.
  • Cross-Functional Meetings: Provide support for cross-functional meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Cost Rolls and Approve to Buys (ATB): Prepare for cost rolls and ATB processes.
  • Workflow Management: Check workflows for components and ensure smooth operation.
  • Technical Support Tickets: Issue tickets to tech support as needed.
  • Formula Cost Sheets: Manage and update formula cost sheets.
  • Beauty Change Management: Provide support for beauty change management processes.
  • Weekly Meetings: Participate in weekly touch bases with Andrew.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Communication: Strong communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams. This includes clear and effective communication, active listening, and the ability to collaborate and manage expectations across different departments and levels of an organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skillset and experience in personal care or manufacturing.
  • Proactive: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results.
  • Technical Proficiency: Moderate to high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience: Prior experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Beauty Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • ERP Systems: Experience with SAP, Ariba, Salesforce, or other ERP systems is beneficial.

Standout Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Beauty Manufacturing.
  • Education: Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, Ariba, Salesforce, or other ERP systems.
