Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer who has a strong background in accounting principles and practices; experience in maintaining banking relationships; supervising credit, collections, and payables; financial reporting and internal controls; and interfacing with auditors.


Key Responsibilities:


·       Strategy Definition and Execution: Collaborate with the CEO and others on the management team to define the finance roadmap in relation to the companies’ ambitious expansion goals.

·       Trusted Advisor: Foster trust and transparency among the finance team in keeping with the companies’ close-knit culture.

·       Manage Applications: Help ensure that the companies’ financial processes enable the business units to operate smoothly.

·       Own Technical Processes: Including Finance close, Accounting, Expense, Disbursements, NetSuite etc.

·       Innovative Champion: Partner with business to identify and implement innovative capabilities.

·       Work With Vendors: Negotiate contracts and work with vendor partners to help ensure that key relationships are delivering maximum value to the companies.

·       Be an Inclusive Leader: Mentor others and lead by example.

·       Ability to make complex financial reports easy to comprehend.

·       Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills.

·       Experience running a credit & collections department.

·       Strong understanding of and experience with cash flow management.

·       Broad-based corporate business experience.

·       M & A experience preferred.

·       Banking and investor relations experience.

·       Capable of working within complex, multi-entity corporate structures.


Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field.

  • At least eight years of experience as a CFO, VP of Finance or similar role with deep knowledge of market dynamics.

·      Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite.

·      Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

·      Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

·      Proven ability to scale operations in a fast-growing company.

·      Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence.
