We are delighted to be supporting a global law firm to hire a Senior Business Development Manager working across their global Antitrust, Competition and Trade sector. A highly innovative area that will also have the support and line management of a team. You will be working very closely with the Global Head on supporting the firms sector on a truly global basis, operating with attorneys and Marketing colleagues based in North America and the EMEA region.


We see this as a high profile and very strategic position within the firm, we would welcome engagement from experienced Legal BD professionals in the DC market who have experience and interest in the Regulatory/Antitrust area.


Duties included within the role;

  • Put together and take the lead on the implementation of the Firms US MBD strategy for the group, working in tandem with the lead partnership on this. This will include covering broader Marketing & BD initiatives but will also have a real focus on the client relationship and development piece, including the firms existing high revenue client base and potential new target clients for the firm.
  • Take the lead on devising innovative marketing campaigns for the group, enhancing the firms standing and brand positioning in specific markets. Ensuring this is tailored towards the US partnerships needs and goals.
  • Promote the firm by putting together thought leadership pieces and also targeted events that will deliver ROI for the firm.
  • Oversee and advise upon the RFP and pitch process, working with central teams to put together compelling pitches to give the firm the best chance of enhancing their win ratio.



We feel this role is an amazing opportunity for someone to take on a truly strategic position in a global firm that is continuing to invest and develop their US presence and business. The existing team is really collegiate, which we believe will make the environment a great place to work. There is also a good pathway to move upwards from Senior BDM level, hopefully showcasing the mid-long term viability of the role too.
