What your day will look like:

  • Conduct final inspection audits and document nonconformities.
  • Monitor and analyze process and historical data to investigate customer complaints and in-house nonconformances.
  • Participate in Quality Planning Activities to determine the need for specialized measuring techniques or training.
  • Issue quality instructions to clarify measuring techniques for production as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Operations to promptly investigate customer-reported nonconformances and assess in-house products.
  • Evaluate and inspect customer returned samples and products.
  • Uphold a safe and healthy workplace environment.
  • Adhere to and enforce compliance with the quality management system.
  • Demonstrate positive and supportive behavior in all interactions with colleagues, supervisors, managers, and customers.

What we are looking for:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or trade school
  • 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • 2+ years of experience in a thermoplastic extrusion environment
  • Blueprint reading and advanced knowledge of ISO9000
  • Quality certification is a plus
