Pay Rate: $25 - $32 per hour

Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have strong 10-key data entry skills, proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes. This role requires working onsite 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter and verify data using 10-key for efficient and accurate entry.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address any issues or concerns.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including AP accruals and journal entries.
  • Generate reports and provide analysis on AP metrics using Excel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong 10-key data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, use formulas, and generate reports.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
