Objectives of this Role

  • Respond promptly to client support requests.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand the nature of their issues.
  • Travel to client locations or connect remotely to provide support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Install and maintain hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
  • Address networking and connectivity problems.
  • Advise clients on software and hardware upgrades.
  • Provide basic training on computer operation and management.
  • Complete job reports accurately and manage inventory of supplies.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role or relevant studies.
  • Proven experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, including chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex hardware and software issues.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside regular hours when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Hours and Location

  • Flexible 40-hour work week
  • Monday to Friday only
