Are you a seasoned culinary professional with a passion for excellence and a knack for operational efficiency? Esteemed San Diego based restaurant group is seeking a dynamic Corporate Chef who will lead the culinary operations across a diverse restaurant portfolio, ensuring consistency, quality, and operational efficiency. This role will be responsible for mentoring kitchen staff along with developing and enforcing standard operating procedures. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee culinary operations across multiple units, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize kitchen efficiency and performance
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers and executive chefs to streamline kitchen operations
  • Monitor and analyze kitchen performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all units
  • Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment across all kitchens
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices
  • Split time between corporate office and field, providing hands-on support and guidance


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a multi-unit culinary role, preferably as a Regional Chef, Area Chef, or Corporate Chef
  • Strong background in operational management and system implementation
  • Familiarity with back-of-house (BOH) management software, such as Ctuit or similar platforms
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in managing high volume kitchen operations
  • Experience working in diverse geographical locations and comfortable with local travel across California
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-market operations
  • Professional, forward-thinking, and innovative in approach


Compensation/Benefits Includes:
