Job Description:
*Our Client requires the supplier to augment the team and provide Sr. Disaster Recovery Administrator; in support of client Data Center and Facilities initiatives and projects.
*Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures, and programs for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. *Conducts risk management analysis and creates business continuity, contingency, and disaster recovery plans.
*Develops and executes the testing processes utilized to validate the disaster recovery plans and to identify weaknesses and failure points in the plans.
*Develops the organization's resumption plan including identifying and securing necessary off site resources and ensuring action plans are in place and communicated to IT and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
List of tasks to be performed:
*Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently.
*Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
*Perform technical leadership role in support of Data Center and facility network projects.
*Design and implement standards-based physical layer connectivity through complex routing protocols and Voice-over-IP implementations.
*Responsible for Cisco Nexus 9000 Spine/Leaf, 7000, 5000 and 2000 series and a variety of L2 switches.
*Create and apply switch and core router configurations i.e. Upgrade IOS and NX-OS images and ensure they are all USPS standardized.
*Work with vPC, Trunking, logging, monitoring and OSPF, EIGRP, Static routing solutions.
Required Certifications:
*Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Education:
*A minimum of thirteen (13) years relevant experience.
*A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required. If the indiviual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
