Role Overview: The Regional Treasury Management Sales Director will be responsible for overseeing and driving the bank's treasury management sales strategy across Texas. This role involves managing a team of seasoned bankers, developing and executing sales strategies, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in treasury management, including substantial management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of experienced treasury management bankers, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and professional development goals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth and enhance the bank’s treasury management offerings in the Texas region.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to optimize their treasury operations.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion and improve the bank’s competitive positioning.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the treasury management team, setting clear goals, tracking progress, and implementing improvements as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product development, operations, and risk management, to ensure the delivery of integrated and effective treasury solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all treasury management activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in treasury management sales or a related field, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to drive sales performance and manage high-performing teams.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of treasury management products, services, and market dynamics. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CTP) is preferred.
- Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas, or willing to relocate.
