Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a client in the Phillipsburg, NJ area that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to join a leading manufacturing organization. The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting HR functions and initiatives to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our workforce processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating candidate communication.
  2. Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate new employee onboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork completion, and training coordination. Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation.
  3. HR Administration: Maintain HR records and databases, update employee information, process HR-related paperwork, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Employee Relations: Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries. Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Training and Development: Coordinate training programs and initiatives, track training completion, and support employee development activities.
  6. HR Projects: Assist in various HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  7. HR Metrics and Reporting: Compile and analyze HR data, prepare reports and presentations, and assist in identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination or administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
