IMAGE AND DICOM MIGRATION ENGINEER

INFINITT provides fast and accurate PACS data migration services for transferring diagnostic images and relate patient and report data between archives. We have developed our own migration tools that can be adapted to different hospital environments. Image and DICOM Migration Engineer is the subject matter expert on image and DICOM migrations. The SME will investigate non-standard and standard requests, identify technical problems, make presentations to customers, coordinate projects, define performance, manage customer expectations and drive results. Image and DICOM Migration Engineers is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by working with the Sales, Applications, other Subject Matter Experts and Implementation teams to provide site configurations (hardware and software), workflow suggestions, and a complete project plan, as well as many other initiatives. The Image and DICOM Migration Engineers is part of the Professional Service Team which has a focus on three primary objectives: analyze the scope of customers’ requirements for data migration projects, design and document solid migration plans, and deliver/validate migration services for solutions in healthcare imaging.

Skills Recommended • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology Systems Management, Information and Communication, or similar degree and/or are equally skilled through experience. • Minimum 3 years’ experience-as a system integration engineer, data analyst, implementation engineer; preferably in a medical environment. • Windows Operating Systems and familiar with Linux • Experience with DICOM standards. • Strong SQL experience. • Experience with Data Mining and database tables • Experience with Networking • Familiar with Medical Imaging or Healthcare industry experience.

Job Responsibilities • 5 years direct PACS experience with demonstrated knowledge of PACS support, to include DICOM device management and troubleshooting, TCP and networking knowledge. • Solid understanding of SCP/SCU roles and the DICOM standard and typical transfer syntaxes and compression. • Familiar with Linux Server Operating Systems, with basic commands, logs, and manipulation of shell scripts. • 1 year in an active role performing PACS DICOM migrations and project management preferred • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet business needs. • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others with different skill/background will understand, strong presentation skills, • Solid problem solving and analytical skills; able to quickly digest any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution. • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, commitments and projects • Ability to influence and drive consensus on multiple technical views •

ORGANIZATIONAL • Reports to Manager of Professional Services • Works with Project Management, engineering resources, and development resources as needed. • Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management. • Works closely with all company team members to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
