FlexTek is currently looking for an IT Support Specialist/Systems Administrator for a client of ours that has an immediate need. Our client is in the oil and gas services industry and is located in the Southeast Houston area.


This role is a long-term contract position, looking to last till the end of the year at this time.

The role is full time/40 hours and is flexible, they are open to 4 10’s or Monday – Thursday 9 hours and Friday 4 hours.

Looking to bring someone in around $23 - $25/per hour at this time.


Below are some of the responsibilities and requirements for the role.


  • Analyze problems and be able to decide on the proper corrective action for both computer hardware and software
  • Support Microsoft Windows/server operating systems which include various applications, printers, and peripherals
  • Understand exchange flow and security
  • Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory and Intune
  • Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
  • Demonstrate good cybersecurity habits
  • Prior IT or Systems Administrator experience
  • Technology Certification is preferred
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge preferred
