Responsibilities


Our Clinical Director is responsible for partnering with the executive team to create and support an amazing cultural environment where our clinicians are empowered, our clients are inspired and where all opinions are valued. Our Clinical Director provides leadership to their staff while working closely with the executive team to develop, implement and staff the mental health and substance use programs for Progressive Institute. An essential part of the program development will be tracking and improving patient outcomes. The Director will also be responsible for ongoing clinical innovation and developing and mentoring staff. The Director will raise awareness of Progressive Institute’s clinical value to the community and industry through publications and white papers.


Duties include:


·      Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the integrated Progressive IOP model of care, while ensuring compliance with state, Joint Commission, and payer regulations.

·      Develop and implement innovative clinical outpatient programs and services for mental health and addiction treatment programs.

·      Collaborate as a member of the leadership team and with the Medical Director to track outcomes and develop tools to assess individuals’ progress to their treatment and wellness goals.

·      Help to recruit, onboard and train new clinician team members. And expand infrastructure to stay ahead of growth.

·      Develop clinicians’ skills through internal and external training programs and activities.

·      Assign and manage caseloads to ensure all clients are treated, and the clinical team operates at capacity, while fostering a supportive environment.

·      Lead clinical team meetings and individual and group supervision.

·      Oversee client in-take and discharge processes to ensure a smooth transition into and out of the Progressive treatment program for all clients.

·      Audit patient charts to ensure clinical documentation meets quality and submission standards.

·      Manage acute and emergent crisis situations as needed.

·      Support the studies and clinical abstracts and posters for publication.


Qualifications


·      Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy. D.) required.

·      Knowledgeable in substance use disorder and mental health treatment strategies and evidence-based practices.

·      3-5 years in a relevant leadership role (inpatient or outpatient) and at least 3 years of post-graduate direct clinical experience in a mental health and/or substance use disorder setting.

·      Must have experience working with clients and families. Interacting with medical and clinical advisory boards is a plus.

·      Knowledge of Kipu EMR and Microsoft Office is a plus, but not required.
