Job Description:-


  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within IT and project management within reemployment services or community development or government programs.
  • MUST have at least 5 years experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).


What You’ll Do :

  • Managing one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT program(s) consisting of multiple projects.
  • Developing program strategy.
  • Supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plans.
  • Ensuring integration of projects and adjusting project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of Commerce.
  • Communicating with IT leadership, Commerce leadership, and IT Business to communicate program strategy, direction, and changes.
  • Delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirements.
  • Tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
  • Partnering with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of Commerce.
  • Coordinating communication with all areas of Commerce that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Coordinating status reports and stability of project area work efforts.


What You'll Need

Required:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or other related field/equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of IT and business/industry work experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in managing projects.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with IT and project management as it pertains to program areas such as reemployment services and/or community development or equivalent governmental program.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).


Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
