One of our clients is looking to bring on a Senior Research Associate, Drug Metabolism in Foster City, CA-94404, This is an onsite position.
Job duration - 06-month contract with possible extension
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this Biologics Bioanalytical Research Associate is to provide bioanalytical support to DMPK project representatives on biologics discovery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience with LCMS, particularly in quantitative peptide analysis.
- Strong background in method development and application of protein LCMS-based assays.
- Proficiency in data analysis software used in LCMS (e.g., Xcalibur, Analyst).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot LCMS instrumentation and methodologies.
- Analyze, interpret, document, and summarize biologics bioanalytical data.
- Provide critical lab support while working in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or related life science discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidate must be flexible, able to work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires extensive use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and use of data analysis software GraphPad Prism, SoftmaxPro, and Phoenix WinNonlin.
- Hands-on experience in one or more large molecule immunoassay techniques (ELISA, MSD, Gyros, or similar) is desired.
