Position Overview
As part of a dynamic and customer-focused team, you'll work in an entrepreneurial environment where you’ll need to deeply understand business challenges and deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions.
In this role, which is about 80% software engineering and 20% data science, you’ll use Go, TensorFlow, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform tools to build the intelligence that powers our platform. Your work will involve:
- Combining mechanistic, bottom-up strategies with statistical, top-down approaches to solve complex supply chain problems
- Developing innovative systems to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Refining and advancing the algorithms that drive our logistics simulations and market optimization processes
- Building models to predict demand, monitor supply availability, and forecast delays or arrival times in logistics networks
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions in Go, integrating with our platform's core functionality
- Improve and expand algorithms for logistics simulations and market optimizations
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for demand and supply forecasting in logistics networks
- Apply advanced algorithms, such as linear programming, simulated annealing, and A* Search, to solve optimization problems
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Strong experience developing AI tools with Go
- Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Expertise in algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, neural networks, discrete event simulations, or case-based reasoning
- Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
- Knowledge of optimization techniques, including linear programming, BOBYQA, and others
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering)
