Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Roc Search is partnering with a large enterprise customer to find 1-2 highly skilled AI Specialists to join their AI team immediately. This role is focused on developing and implementing advanced AI models, with a particular emphasis on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for text data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize NLP models and LLMs specifically tailored for text data and transcripts.
- Build and deploy AI tools and models in a cloud environment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Design and create endpoints for model accessibility to end-users.
- Utilize Python libraries such as SciKit Learn and PyTorch to fine-tune existing LLMs or develop new LLMs from scratch.
- Manage and interact with vector databases to support AI model functionality and performance.
- Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in AI, with a strong focus on NLP and LLMs for text data specifically.
- Proficiency in Python libraries, including SciKit Learn and PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience in building and fine-tuning LLMs, including creating models from scratch.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms and deployment strategies, including creating accessible endpoints.
- Experience with vector databases and their integration into AI workflows.
This role is flexible hybrid with 3 days a week on-site in Denver, Colorado.
