Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience developing complex, large scale enterprise applications
  • 5+ years of recent hands on experience working on/with Salesforce products such as Salesforce Core & Salesforce Marketing
  • Strong experience working with MuleSoft
  • Successful design, creation and deployment of one or more enterprise-grade technology assets, including integration of cross-platform solutions in an Agile product environment
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories etc
  • Atleast 3+ years of leadership experience in a complex technical environment and/or with leading employees ( formally or informally) including providing regular feedback and mentoring
  • Understanding of Agile or other rapid application development methods
  • Experience in Continuous integration, Continuous delivery & DevOps Systems.
  • Experience managing technical aspects of software engineering for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignments
  • Partners with customers and other internal teams and technical product managers to deliver improvements to the platform
  • Establish and accepts responsibility for engineering practices across teams for example the code review, build and release process and the effectiveness of the retrospective


Day to Day:

A Large financial institution is looking for a Senior Engineering Architect/Manager to lead a high performing team of engineers in developing new features and capabilities on the EPSAM platforms. Their applications are fundamental to supporting their Sales and account management teams to establish and develop fantastic relationships with their customers. The Senior Engineering Manager partners with product owners, technology leaders, and engineers to develop roadmaps, design and implement cutting edge technology solutions, and drive modern engineering principles in accordance with their digital transformation strategy. This company needs someone who can actively provide people-leadership, deep technical knowledge and contribute to the engineering team that will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug work efforts for their customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end-user applications. This person will be a people leader for a high functioning team of engineers reporting to an Engineering Director who is responsible for multiple teams. The ideal candidate will come from an Engineering background as opposed to a BA background.
