Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of our store operations. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the appearance of our store, assisting with inventory, supporting the sales team, and ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
  • Manage the daily functions of the business
  • Prepare annual performance review and reevaluate processes
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed


Store Maintenance:

  • Maintain the store’s cleanliness and uphold our visual standards.
  • Arrange jewelry displays attractively, ensuring a visually appealing presentation.
  • Support the team in setting up and taking down displays.


Customer Service:

  • Assist sales associates by preparing items for viewing and responding to customer inquiries, ensuring a smooth sales process.
  • Handle customer transactions efficiently when required.


Administrative Support:

  • Generate and provide weekly and daily reports for sales tracking.
  • Submit monthly reports to the accounting department.
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records related to inventory, sales, and customer interactions.
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating repairs, and managing order fulfillment.
  • Manage correspondence and handle phone calls professionally, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team and other staff to achieve store objectives and enhance the customer experience.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
  • Provide feedback and insights on operational processes, customer interactions, and store maintenance to improve overall efficiency and service.


IT Support:

  • Manage the copyright platform.
  • Oversee that all sales hardware functions effectively.
  • Stay updated on point-of-sale and eCommerce platforms, handling tech support issues as needed.


Inventory Management:

  • Assist inventory manager in accurate and timely inventory counts and audits.
  • Organize and maintain jewelry storage. 
  • Assist in receiving and dispatching of merchandise, ensuring accuracy in counts and documentation.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail, particularly in jewelry or luxury goods, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications for inventory management and record-keeping.
