The Marketing team at RTA is looking for an Events Manager. This person helps RTA grow through a well-executed event strategy that enhances our brand presence and thought leadership through tradeshows and events for our prospects, customers, and industry partners. The right team member will create a well-defined event budget and be strategic in how it’s spent, maximizing reach and effect along the way. They will know the various tradeshows, their audiences, and how to create a memorable experience during the event along with thorough pre and post event planning. They intrinsically know the value of having our thought leaders speaking and engaging the audience and so they pursue speaking engagements with zeal and tenacity. Lastly, they thoroughly enjoy being with the crowd to mix it up with their peers on the tradeshow floor.

Key Results Areas (aka the Job Outcomes)  

  1. KPIs based on leads, pipeline, and revenue generated at each event. 
  2. Secure speaking engagements for our subject matter experts at as many events as possible.  
  3. Elevate the RTA brand presence at events and ensure the brand is always represented to the highest standard. 
  4. Execute an industry-leading in-person conference, RTA Connect. 
  5. Position RTA as a leader, innovator, and problem-solver. 

 


Detailed Duties List:  

  • Manage and own the budget and performance of all events for RTA 
  • Lead in the planning and execution of events. This includes trade shows, conferences, advisory board meetings, association meetings, customer dinners and entertainment, etc. 
  • Cultivate memorable experiences for people interacting with our brand. 
  • Serve as team lead at each event to ensure that the booth is set up correctly, that our brand is represented well, and that our team behaves and performs to expectations.  
  • Help gather leads and speak to our company positioning and product functionality with booth visitors. 
  • Select and coordinate the best pre, at, and post-show marketing options that help us meet our objectives within our budget. 
  • Responsible for how we capture lead information at shows. 
  • Keep track of and inventory of our events assets and SWAG items. 
  • Coordinate all personnel, booth, SWAG, and vendor logistics for each event. 
  • Ensuring a smooth process for shipping booth and SWAG items back to HQ or the next 
  • event. 
  • Work with marketing and sales to execute on our Account Based Marketing strategy, prioritizing target accounts to provide personalized experiences that help move them towards the next milestone in their buying journey. 
  • Partner with the SDR and Sales teams to ensure SLAs are met and that these teams have all the information and tools they need to be successful following up with these leads. 
  • Assess and recommend solutions to any gaps in how our brand or products are presented at events. 
  • Coordinate 15-20 trade shows per year, plus project manage our RTA Connect conference  
  • Attend 75% of all events for a given year. Roughly 15 events.
  • Report monthly and quarterly on events performance. This includes leads generated, pipeline created, conversion rates, closed-won ARR, pipeline return on spend ratio, and return on investment.

Base salary for the role is between $90k and $105k, based on experience. This is a full-time, in-office role (WFH available on Tues/Thurs).
