Human Resources Director


Taylor English Duma LLP seeks a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join our team. The HR Director will play a crucial role in the firm's success by helping with key human capital processes including integration, recruiting, staffing, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of HR best practices, and a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive workplace environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Integration: Facilitate the integration of new employees and attorneys into the firm's culture and operations, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our values and objectives.


Recruiting: Partner with the firm’s Senior Director Of Recruiting to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job postings that accurately reflect requirements and expectations.


Onboarding: Execute comprehensive onboarding programs to equip new hires with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in their roles. Coordinate orientation sessions, training programs, and mentorship opportunities to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.


Staffing: Oversee the allocation of paralegal and legal practice support resources and assignments to support attorneys and legal teams. Coordinate with practice group leaders to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and ensure timely completion of projects. Monitor paralegal and legal practice support staff productivity and performance, providing feedback and support as needed to optimize efficiency and quality of work.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management required in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of successful recruiting and onboarding initiatives, with a demonstrated ability to attract and retain top talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset and analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and organizational development.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to effectively manage within a fast-paced environment.
