The Production Factory is a creative production company established in 2004. We are looking for a full time Producer to join our growing team in the New York office. You will be producing stills & motion mainly for fashion and lifestyle clients coming from both the US and Europe. We’re looking for someone dedicated and passionate who will be excited to grow with our US division. This role requires the candidate to be on site 5 days a week and will allow for growth within the company.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Report to the Executive Producer & assist them on all tasks.
  • Support the team of producers.
  • Work alongside the Executive Producer & Producers on larger scale shoots.
  • Take direction from the team, prioritize and manage a ‘to-do’ list.  
  • Communicate with each producer on when tasks will be completed.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers where possible.
  • Support the production team with all logistics and travel.
  • Support the production team with booking creative teams, transportation, permits, visas and carnets.
  • Support by pulling together casting & location presentations.
  • Support the production team with equipment needs for all crew and departments.
  • Support the production team with generating call sheets.
  • Manage smaller scale shoots on your own but with guidance from the production team as needed.
  • Organize and manage production kits for your team and ensure new stock is ordered as needed.
  • Basic office support; keeping the office tidy, running errands.
  • Help the Global Heads of Production & Executive Producer on research and pulling together presentations for various productions and pitches.
  • Responsibility for collating final images / films to be shared with our marketing dept for social media & our website.
  • Support on set when needed both in NYC and across the US.
  • Reconcile all invoices, supporting the production team to keep their billing notes updated. Allocating invoices and managing all cash and credit card spend ensuring copies of receipts are kept at all times.
  • Any other such duties that may be required from time to time relevant to your role.


Must Have:

  • Some experience working on shoot productions in a creative or production agency environment.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively work & multitask at any one time.
  • Strong interest in the industry including photographer, models & directors.
  • Have a good understanding of optioning teams, model casting and dealing with agents.
  • Have an interest in location research and permitting.
  • Have an understanding of call sheets & working documents.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Share Point, Google Docs, and Key Note.
  • Have a positive, can-do outlook and be willing to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Be unafraid to ask questions.
  • Use your initiative and be proactive in everything you do.
  • Understanding of on set activities and roles.
  • A willingness to travel if needed & sometimes at short notice.
