Location: Peoria (Hybrid - 2 days a week on-site)


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

3 to 5 years' experience in the heavy machinery industry (excluding internships). Experience at John Deere, CAT, Kress or similar companies is highly preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and training

Hands on experience working with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Creo.

Excellent communication skills and eagerness to be a part of the team and work collaboratively with one another

Drive Systems Experience: Proficient in Drive Systems, such as gearing or axles or motors or will motors, transmission or torque's or battery integration or R&D, or simulation, or FEA, or hydraulics


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Collaboration: Work with the management team to address quality and reliability issues in motors, gearing, or axles.

Problem-Solving: Utilize tree analysis to investigate issues and work through problems.

Reporting: Communicate findings and identify root causes of issues.

Specialization: Focus on projects involving mining trucks and their operation in land excavation.
