The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in all aspects of the restaurants operations. The AGM ensures the smooth options of the restaurant, maintains high standards of food quality, service, health and safety, and provides leadership and development to the team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to provide high-quality service.
  • Manage team member schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards in the restaurant.
  • Assist in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain guest.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar role in the restaurant industry
  • Must live in the United States (we are working with international candidates at this time)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
