We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to lead our Business Development Center (BDC) team. The BDC Leader will be responsible for building and managing a team whose primary objective is to initiate contact with automotive dealer principals, general managers, and finance leaders. The goal is to schedule appointments for our outside sales team, facilitating the closing of deals and driving revenue growth.The BDC Leader plays a crucial role in driving business growth by effectively managing the appointment-setting process and fostering strong relationships with automotive dealership stakeholders. Responsibilities:


  • Team Building: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing BDC team capable of achieving aggressive appointment-setting targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to effectively reach and engage automotive dealer principals, general managers, and finance leaders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine BDC processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in setting appointments.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and implement performance improvement initiatives to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Training and Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of BDC team members, ensuring they are equipped to engage with prospects effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and generate actionable insights to optimize BDC operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team to align appointment-setting efforts with sales objectives and provide timely updates on scheduled appointments.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Oversee the use of CRM software (HubSpot) to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, track progress, and facilitate communication within the BDC team.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that appointment-setting calls meet established standards of professionalism, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the BDC team and senior management, providing regular reports, updates, and recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or telemarketing, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and strategies, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analytics tools.
