The Sales Coordinator will work cooperatively with the HBB Pro Sales outside sales team-members, manufacturers, distribution partners, and contractor partners. In general, the position’s goal is to utilize all resources to increase sales and maintain exceptional customer service.


Sales Duties:

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner to new and existing customers
  • Assist outside sales team with customer relations, sales, and technical support
  • Understand basic function and technical aspects of all product lines
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to product availability, prices, discounts, and product information
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction


General Duties

  • Always present a professional image to customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Provide a welcoming attitude and willingness to help them in every way possible
  • Be a team player, working collectively to improve the overall success of the company
  • Answer and return phone calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Setup and maintain customer files
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with sales reps
  • Maintain computer proficiency with, but not limited to, all Microsoft Office applications and manufacturer online portals and product configurators
  • Continually improve product line knowledge, including technical aspects


Customer Service Duties

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or warranty claims
  • Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
