Territory Business Manager

Our client is a biopharmaceutical company committed to advancing treatments for rare and serious liver diseases and they continue to innovate with new therapies in development.
The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is a vital member of our client's team, tasked with exceeding sales targets ethically and compliantly within their assigned geographic area. This role requires strategic planning, customer engagement, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive product adoption.
The territory goes as far out as Palmdale, past Barstow, Lake Havasu City, Victorville and Apple Valley, Temecula, but the bulk of the territory is everything around Glendale, to Norwalk, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Corona, Fontana, San Bernadino.
Core Accountabilities:
- Exceed territory sales goals while maintaining compliance and ethical standards.
- Develop and execute territory strategies to meet customer needs and increase product adoption.
- Demonstrate extensive product and disease state knowledge to engage healthcare professionals effectively.
- Operate within budget constraints to deliver comprehensive education and support to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and share best practices.
- Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks and adherence to company guidelines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and patient-centricity across all functions.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience calling on hepatologists and gastroenterologists is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local healthcare markets is a plus.
