Job position:

Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates (LPB), a nearly 50 year old Architectural/Engineering firm, is looking for a full time Electrical Engineer/Designer for our Lawrenceville, GA office. Qualified candidates shall be self-motivated and possess a high level of technical skill who can work in an A/E office environment with cross coordination between all internal disciplines (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior Design).


Requirements:

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience.

·        Experienced in the design and drafting of electrical systems for hotels, schools and municipal buildings.

·        BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.

·        EIT or PE not required but encouraged.


Responsibilities:

·        Design and draft electrical power, lighting and low voltage plans for client review and permitting.

·        Perform load calculations on branch circuits and panelboards and size conductors per the NEC.

·        Coordinate with other engineers and architects.

·        Perform preliminary site walk throughs to verify existing conditions.

·        Construction administration duties such as responding to RFI’s.


Skill sets:

·        Proficient in AutoCAD.

·        Experienced with Revit, COMCheck and Bluebeam is a plus.

·        Excellent communication skills with architects, engineers and Owners.

·        Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, and self-motivated to produce high quality

work.

·        Must be able to manage time and stay on task.
