The Student Leadership Accelerator program is a philanthropy-focused leadership and business development academy for high school students that provides real-world professional experience and a toolkit of invaluable skills, including financial literacy, social entrepreneurship, marketing, and pitching to prepare them for a successful future. Through SLA, students can earn scholarships, grow their networks, and make a positive impact on their community.
The Student Leadership Accelerator program was designed as an opportunity to provide young student leaders with a jump start on developing themselves as young professionals while simultaneously giving back for a better tomorrow. As this generation of students will be our future leaders, it is our goal to develop prepared, confident, and empathetic individuals who can achieve anything they put their mind to.Students undergo a 10-week self-led training curriculum on topics covering personal development, business skills, and personal leadership skills. Candidates learn and execute on leading a multi-generational team to success using the skills learned throughout the leadership modules.Through this curriculum and connecting with other candidates in the program, they are able to put these skills into practice during a 6-week fundraising competition in support of our mission.Campaign Manager Job Description:
The purpose of the Campaign Manager is to lead a group of Student Leadership Accelerator (SLA) candidates throughout the program timeline. The Campaign Manager’s will report directly to the Managing Director and will guide the SLA Candidates as necessary throughout the program to achieve the established goals and KPIs of the program.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
- Responsible for taking weekly check-in calls with Candidates
- Being available to Candidate questions and providing accurate and helpful insight on the problems
- Organizing and creating weekly and monthly team meetings
- Organizing Candidate’s schedules to ensure on-time attendance for established meetings
- Assisting with fundraising and outreach efforts for candidates
- Assisting as necessary to ensure Candidates are on track to reach their established
- fundraising goals
Qualifications:
- High School GED Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1 - 3 Years experience in a philanthropy role, fundraising role, coaching, and/or revenue generating role (Sales / Account Management)
- Reliable transportation to/from the office and business meetings
Job Start Date:
- June 3, 2024
- Opportunity to full-time salaried position, thereafter.
Work Hours:
- In-Office / Hybrid
- Planned 20 - 30 hours per week
- Compensation: $20 - 24 USD per hour
