Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Regulatory Compliance Paralegal to support our compliance department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research on regulatory issues and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Review and prepare regulatory filings to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and updates, advising the legal team on necessary actions.
- Maintain and update compliance databases and documentation.
- Assist with audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure company-wide regulatory adherence.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal education.
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within a corporate or legal setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and compliance management software.
