  • Sources new sales opportunities nationwide through lead follow-up, cold calls and emails
  • Proactively manages territory to increase sales volume and customer retention
  • Maintains high level of sales activity at all times by conducting a minimum number of sales appointments
  • Works closely with corporate sales team to understand objectives as well as developing and implementing business opportunities and reaching out to new customers
  • Creates territory plans, pricing and understands business decisions impact on Mauser Packaging Solutions and the marketplace
  • Understands competitor’s products, processes and capabilities, people and manufacturing strategies and strengths; Leverages this knowledge to benefit Mauser Packaging Solutions.
  • Meets with customers to build and maintain positive relationships on a regular basis and provides product, pricing and service information.
  • Maintains high level of knowledgeability on product and industry trends and updates
  • Utilizes Salesforce software daily to update and manage accounts and new business activities
  • Reviews performance metrics to ensure achievement of monthly sales, revenue and margin goals.
  • Actively attends Sales meetings and Trade Shows to keep current on latest trends and developments in the industry.
  • Works well both internally and externally to drive positive solutions for customers and all stakeholders.
  • Works with other functions such as engineering and operations to implement changes that improve operational efficiency within Mauser.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 + years of experience in sales; manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with large territories a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and implement territory strategies
  • Successful negotiation and implementation of supply agreements
  • Strong leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SalesForce.com
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial business and data analysis
  • Self-motivated in fast paced changing environment
  • Works from home office with moderate overnight travel
  • Proficient at a level commensurate with role in software appropriate for the position.
