JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions specific to the accurate processing and recording of payroll and tax compliance for the Americas. The successful candidate will work closely with Accounting and our external 3rd party payroll vendors.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather payroll data from various relevant sources within the company, such as expenses, bonuses, commissions, salary changes, etc.
  • Manage and administer payroll for America’s employees on our payroll system, including inputting changes, processing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls, tracking payroll approvals, ensuring timelines are met, and accurate reporting of transactions.Payroll tasks related to on/off boarding for new/terminated employees and changes in employment terms.
  • Provide service to all employees regarding questions about payroll, while troubleshooting any and all inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and other related laws and best practices.
  • Balanced payroll registers with 941’s, Multiple Worksite report, quarterly and annual federal and state reports.
  • Balance and Reconciliation payroll preparation to create Journal Entries.
  • Ensure controls are properly performed within the payroll accounting process.
  • Oversee Year End reporting and balance W2’s and T4’s.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of payroll-related requirements and regulations
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • 3-5 years payroll experience, inclusive of payroll processing and general accounting
  • Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and information obtained
  • Perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail


PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s degree; Major in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • System experience with NetSuite
  • Strong experience in UKG Pro and WorkForce Management


COMPENSATION

This role will have a general base pay range of $81,800 to $110,500. In addition to the base salary, the role will include a bonus component. The provided base salary range is what we expect to pay a substantially qualified candidate, with the final offer being based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as location and other factors. Total compensation for the role will include base salary, participation in our corporate bonus plan and an equity grant applicable to the level of the role.
