Director, Marketing and Partnerships

Our client, a media and entertainment non-profit in NYC, is looking for a temp-to-perm Director of Marketing and Partnerships. The Director of Marketing and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in fortifying the company's brand presence and fostering revenue growth. This multifaceted position demands a visionary leader capable of orchestrating strategic marketing initiatives and cultivating meaningful partnerships. The ideal candidate will blend innovative marketing strategies with astute collaboration to drive ticket sales, elevate memberships, and amplify viewership across both live and digital platforms. As a key driver of the company's success, this individual will craft compelling campaigns, forge valuable alliances, and steer the organization toward unprecedented growth.
This is a temp-to-perm position that requires 5-days/week onsite in Midtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Devise and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to boost ticket sales, event registrations, membership acquisition, and digital content viewership.
- Identify, negotiate, and nurture partnerships with relevant entities to expand the company's reach, increase brand visibility, and enhance revenue streams.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing campaigns, leveraging various channels to maximize audience engagement and conversions.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continually refine marketing tactics, optimizing campaigns for maximum impact and ROI.
- Safeguard and enhance the company's brand identity across all marketing efforts, ensuring consistency and resonance with the target audience.
- Service as the main point of contact for the organization’s media planning agency.
- Develop media campaigns and identify key media outlets and marketing partners to reach key audiences and demographics.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the media or entertainment industry, showcasing a track record of driving revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in cultivating and managing partnerships, with strong negotiation skills and a knack for fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
- Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools to derive actionable insights, optimize campaigns, and make data-informed decisions.
- Proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas persuasively and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Prior experience in the non-profit sector a huge plus.
