Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer, under the supervision of the Technical Sales Manager, will act as first and main point of contact for direct sale for customers and reps in US, Canada, and Mexico. The goal is to provide quotations for projects, machines and spare parts for all US, Canada, and Mexico


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Responsible for sales budget, machines, systems, spare parts, and service
  • Primary contact for direct customers and external reps in US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Develop and follow up with a yearly action plan with Reps in US, Canada & Mexico
  • Close communication with Sales Manager or CEO to discuss new or current projects
  • Review new machine contracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
  • Prepare technical and commercial quotes for machines and systems
  • Comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard under his/her responsibility and authority.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system and its continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with other Sales Engineers to exchange process and application process, ideas, and experience within the group.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Candidate profile


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science, Chemical, Metallurgical, Industrial, or a related field.
  • Experience in agglomeration and briquetting/compaction is a plus.
  • Five years of experience in a machine manufacturing company.
  • Preferred: Five years of manufacturing experience in the mining industry.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to industrial environments as required.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 foundations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong skills in engineering drawing.
  • International exposure. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
