Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and innovative Events Manager with extensive experience in full-scale event production at major venues. As a mid-level Events Manager, you will plan and execute industry-specific events that align with our business goals, engaging key stakeholders while ensuring seamless logistics and execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our brand’s visibility and market presence. Reporting directly to the VP of Product & Marketing, this position involves managing the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning to post-event analysis. Frequent travel for over 15 events per year nationwide is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage technical and industry-specific events, ensuring all elements are executed efficiently and aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee full event production, including shipping, union labor coordination, booth creation, staffing, and on-site management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the success of events, including logistics, marketing, and execution.
  • Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service.
  • Manage event logistics, such as venue setup, audiovisual needs, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive event attendance and engagement, working closely with the marketing team.
  • Oversee printing and distribution of event materials, such as brochures and signage, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Provide post-event analysis and reports to measure the success of each event and recommend improvements.
  • Build relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and influencers to foster long-term engagement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for attendees.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of managing events at major venues.
  • Demonstrated expertise in full event production, including logistics for shipping, union labor, and booth setup.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Proven contract negotiation skills with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies to promote events through social media, email, and other channels.
  • Familiarity with event management software and marketing tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to navigate challenges during planning and execution.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for nationwide events.
