Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Distribution Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical distribution systems to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, design software, and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

- **Design and Development:** Create detailed designs for electrical distribution systems, including overhead and underground systems, in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

- **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

- **Technical Analysis:** Perform technical analyses and simulations to optimize system performance and reliability.

- **Compliance:** Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of distribution systems.

- **Field Support:** Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of distribution systems.

- **Documentation:** Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design reports, schematics, and technical specifications.

- **Innovation:** Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve design practices and solutions.


Qualifications:

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical distribution design or a related field.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools.

- **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, load flow analysis, and protective device coordination.

- **Certifications:** Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.

- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.

- **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
