We have a full-service structural engineering firm seeking a Structural Designer in Tampa, FL. This firm offers a full range of engineering services including project planning, feasibility studies, and more. 

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with team members to create 3D design models and 2D drawings
  • Coordinate with architectural drawings, produce foundation and framing plans, create structural drawings, annotate and detail 2D production drawings.
  • Assist in BIM workflow management, monitor work progress, and conduct site visits for measurements and documentation.

Knowledge:

  • Working experience or degree in a related discipline (Design/Drafting, Computer-Aided Design/Drafting, BIM technician, Civil Engineering, etc.)
  • 5-8 years of building design experience utilizing Revit and AutoCAD
  • Working understanding within Revit of the creation and use of families, symbols, detail components, line styles, parameters, view templates, and filters
  • Detail-oriented mindset with an understanding of the importance of clear, concise, and consistent model creation and drawing documentation
  • Reliably deliver excellent construction documents using verbal or written descriptions, with detailed instructions or redlines
