Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Open Source AI Engineer with a robust development background and at least 3 years of experience in AI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI frameworks, a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, and a proven track record of contributing to open-source projects. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI models, as well as collaborating with the global open-source community to enhance and share our technological advancements.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.

• Actively participate in and contribute to open-source AI projects, including code contributions, documentation, and community support.

• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products and services.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies and integrate relevant advancements into our projects.

• Ensure AI models are efficient, scalable, and maintainable, and continuously improve their performance.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members on AI and open-source development practices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models, code, and processes, and report progress to stakeholders.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a proven track record in open-source development.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikitlearn, etc.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.

• Demonstrated contributions to open-source projects, with active involvement in the community.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.


Preferred:

• Publications in reputable AI conferences or journals.

• Experience in leading open-source projects or AI development teams.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
