Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. Our products are found in the building and construction, medical, labels, graphics, hygiene, composites, and automotive industries.


We are currently looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our Hammond team


Responsibilities

  • Operate the machine; this includes start-up, changeover, shutdown and daily operation.
  • Observe and monitor machine for defects during operation.
  • Identify and correct problems on machine. Notify appropriate personnel of any operational issues.
  • Use computer to enter valid information and to print out roll labels.
  • Perform routine quality testing on product.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures.
  • Must have regular consistent attendance.


Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity and customers.
  • Requires the ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math, take accurate measurements and use hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours.


Multiple Shifts Available

  • Day Shift (5:00am-5:00pm)
  • 2-2-3 Schedule (2 days during the week, every other weekend)
  • Night Shift (5:00pm-5:00am)
  • 2-2-3 Schedule (2 days during the week, every other weekend)
  • 4 days a week (no weekends)
  • Please note this schedule will transition to a 2-2-3 schedule in the future due to increase business
