About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Maintenance Department at Jupiter Aluminum Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate department personnel, functions, and activities, including mechanical, electrical, and mobile equipment fleet vehicles.
  • Provide technical support through training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensure all department safety practices are followed and maintain good employee relations.
  • Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer's specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and auxiliary equipment.
  • Provide guidance and share knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining, and fabrication.
  • Assign and supervise daily work schedules of all department personnel.
  • Maintain employee records, including vacations, absenteeism, overtime, and weekly timesheets.
  • Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and supervise the CMMS point person.
  • Create and manage PM, work order system, spare part inventory program, and track results.
  • Initiate Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Stay current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and updates as required.
  • Ensure the productivity of the Maintenance Department.
  • Conduct supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, counseling, discipline, performance appraisal, and assigning/prioritizing work for subordinates.
  • Lead and direct around-the-clock activities of subordinate supervisors, providing individual coaching and support.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping practices in all areas under supervision.
  • Provide contract and supervision for security and janitorial services.
  • Manage a vendor base to ensure quality product availability while minimizing costs and maintaining high service levels.
  • Manage storeroom supplies related to repair and maintenance.
  • Manage procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services via requisitions.
