FlexIT Global is seeking experienced Datacenter Technicians for a short term (40 day) project in Memphis, TN. There are (3) different types of positions and applicants/candidates will be considered for all (3) positions and the final decision on the role for each applicant/candidate will be made by the client.


· All candidates hired, will be screened, tested, and then trained.


Each hired technician will receive -


· Lodging/Meals - $250/day

· Airfare: 1 round trip flight paid for by customer

· OT = over 8 hours/day OR over 40 hours in 1 week (Monday-Sunday)

· Weekend hours = Night shift rate

Role #1 -


Location: Memphis, TN (100% onsite)

Job Title: Team Leader

Duration: 40 days – Day and Night shifts – 7 days a week

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the installation and maintenance of data center cabling infrastructure.

· Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely progress and completion of the project.

· Enforce safety protocols and procedures.

· Train and mentor team members, including deputies and installers.

· Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet NVIS and market standards.

· Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary tools and materials.

Skills:

· Leadership and team management

· Project management

· Strong understanding of cabling standards and best practices

· Problem-solving and critical thinking

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English)

Optional Certifications:

· BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

Role #2 -


Location: Memphis, TN (100% onsite)

Job Title: Team Leader Deputy

Duration: 40 days – Day and Night shifts – 7 days a week

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Team Leader in overseeing daily operations and installations.

· Supervise and support team members on-site.

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

· Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installations.

· Help manage project timelines and coordinate with other teams.

Skills:

· Strong technical knowledge of data center cabling

· Leadership and supervisory skills- Effective communication and teamwork

· Problem-solving and troubleshooting

· Attention to detail

Optional Certifications:

· BICSI Technician

· OSHA Safety Certification

Role #3 -


Location: Memphis, TN (100% onsite)

Job Title: Cable Installer

Duration: 40 days – Day and Night shifts – 7 days a week

Responsibilities:

· Prepare, label, bundle, Install, terminate, and test data center cabling systems.

· Follow detailed installation plans and blueprints.

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed cabling.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills:

· Proficient in cable installation techniques and tools

· Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents

· Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina

· Team-oriented and reliable

Optional Certifications:

· BICSI Installer 2

· OSHA Safety Certification
