Clayton Services is searching for a Title Clerk to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas.


Job Type: Temporary, possibly Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience


Title Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Produce and process new vehicle title and plate documents
  • Process used vehicle title and plate transfer documents
  • Process vehicle title and plate state transfer documents
  • Process all states annual registration/plate renewals
  • Maintain physical custody of vehicle titles and equipment UCC filings
  • Provide weekly status reports for all incomplete titling transactions
  • Other duties as assigned


Title Clerk Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to successfully meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills


Title Clerk Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma
  • A minimum of 2+ years of titling experience in a car dealership setting
