Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Represent the electrical team on evaluation drives
- Conduct root cause & fix electrical issues on vehicles as they arise
- Provide on-site support for vehicle builds at the assembly plant
- Handle complex tasks & complicated situations under compressed timing
- Provide outstanding planning, organization, & project management with accurate follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives
- Communicate effectively with multi-functional teams
- Provide expertise in CAN tools, Module software flashing, CAN network troubleshooting, Bus Queries, CAN log & data collection, VSCS
Required Skills:
- BS Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
- 5+ years experience in automotive electrical systems
- 5+ years of disciplined, team-based problem solving (6 sigma preferred)
- Understanding of bill of materials. FMA, AIMS, DFMEA, Six Sigma
- Experience in launching new vehicles and working with cross-functional team
- Experience with Vector CAN tools, Module Software flashing, CAN network troubleshooting, Bus Queries, CAN log and data collection, MyCanic, Vehicle configuration (VSCS)
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional & multi-functional teams
