Fashion Studio Intern

Studio ONE11 is a fashion consulting company. We help fashion brands and designers bring their ideas to life. Some of the services we offer include, design development, material sourcing, pattern-making, sampling, production and more.


We are currently looking for a studio intern to join the team. The ideal candidate is eager and open to learning various parts of the process and the product life-cycle.


The ideal candidate is available 2-3 days a week in person at our Brooklyn studio. This is internship is for school credit only.


Responsibilities


-Aiding in sourcing of materials

-Cutting & Sewing muslin prototypes

-Digitizing paper patterns

-Pattern-making

-Communicating with factories

-Errands in garments district

-Organizing in Studio (as needed)



Qualifications


-Intermediate pattern-making, sewing, draping skills

-Ability to learn in a fast paced work environment

-Strong knowledge in garment construction

-Excellent organizational & communication skills

-Pays heavy attention to detail

-Experience with NYC Garment District a plus


Bonus;

-Experience using 3D programs (Browzwear / CLO3D)
