Responsibilities:


  • Manage safety compliance in various projects
  • Support Health and Safety within the plant.
  • Manage and submit environmental and safety reports
  • Provide continuous improvement to existing environmental systems and procedures while providing leadership to improve all aspects of EHS
  • Have basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and upkeep of environmental reduction processes and procedures to ensure sites continue to stay within compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct onsite inspection to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards in the plants
  • Lead ongoing improvements to current environmental systems and procedures, while driving initiatives to improve all of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  • Annual Environmental filing


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of environmental/ Safety experience within the industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO14001 management systems.
  • TCEQ, and the EPA knowledge
  • Waste Management experience
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience
