Job Summary:

As a Commercial Analytics and Business Intelligence Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. With a keen eye for data and a passion for the nutrition industry, you will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to provide actionable insights. Your expertise will guide product development, marketing strategies, and process optimizations, driving our company's growth and profitability.


Responsibilities:

  • Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze sales, market, and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time decision-making. Work with colleagues to provide the deep-dive data needed to fully understand an issue and identify the specific actions that will lead to improvements. Direct 3rd party or internal resources to continually add more important data into the data warehouse (ERP, RedZone, payroll system, Nielsen, etc.) in the most automated, efficient, and reliable way possible utilizing APIs, download scrips, etc.
  • Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the business. Provide strategic insights to guide product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. Facilitate knowledge sharing and data integration across departments.
  • Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing processes and supply chain operations. Recommend data-backed solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications: (Minimum Education Requirements, Experience, Competencies, Training or Experience)

  • degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • of 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, preferably in the nutrition, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing industries.
  • in data analytics tools and data warehouses (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, AWS) and advanced Excel skills.
  • analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • of the nutrition industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory environment, is highly desirable.
