Procurement / Inventory Planning Manager

We are working with a National, PE-backed client based in the Tampa, Florida that is seeking an experienced Procurement / Inventory Planning Manager. This person will will oversee direct procurement responsibilities for inventory related to 150+ point of service care clinics.


This is a hybrid position. This individual will ideally live in the Tampa area and be able to work onsite 1-2 days a week.


Responsibilities include:


Demand / Supply Planning

  • Manage tools and activities as required to support demand / supply plan creation and management
  • Collaborate with various groups to obtain forecast inputs
  • Manage statistical forecasting models and tools to maintain base inputs to the demand plan

Ensure execution level plans are accurate and complete

  • Monitor order intake and forecast consumption to recognize issues and make or suggest the needed adjustments
  • Maintain sales history to support the forecasting process
  • Maintain progress against quarterly/monthly vendor bonus plans to minimize COGS against inventory stock


Communication and Coordination

  • Review sales internally to confirm objectives and understanding
  • Engage with order entry staff to understand order execution trends and concerns
  • Collaborate with Customer Service for issue identification and resolution
  • Coordinate with supply planners on supply plans and exception management


Analysis and Reporting

  • Support the identification, communication and resolution of demand and sales related issues
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and tool utilization
  • Support special reporting requirements as defined
  • Monitor performance versus plan
  • Maintain needed metrics to support business
  • Maintain monthly COGS reporting.
  • Own pricing lists and NetSuite pricing updates

Administrative

  • Participate in Corporate projects and committees as assigned.
  • Interact with various levels of management and Accounting/Finance regarding work products and issues


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Experience with Direct Procurement preferably in a retail, wellness or manufacturing space
  • NetSuite system (Inventory Management) experience required
  • Highly Analytical and has dealt with inventory management and order processing
  • Must be skilled in Excel
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and construct modeling. Can run inventory to determine PAR
  • Ability to be near or travel within the Tampa, Florida area
