Job Summary:

    • Source and procure materials, components, and products from approved suppliers.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

  • Inventory Control:
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
    • Implement inventory management strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Demand Planning:
    • Analyze sales forecasts and production schedules to develop procurement plans.
    • Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

  • Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze procurement and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Generate reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and supplier performance.
    • Use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and inventory transactions.
    • Prepare and update procurement documentation, including purchase orders and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
