  • The People Analyst is responsible for leading the people analytics function.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of experience in people analytics or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • They will have strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The People Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting people data to identify trends and patterns, and for developing and implementing people analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making.


People Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Lead the people analytics function and develop a data-driven approach to people management
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret people data to identify trends and patterns
  • Launch, manage, and report results from our annual employee engagement survey
  • Develop and implement people analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and address people-related challenges
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest people analytics trends and best practices


People Analyst Top 3 Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret people data to identify trends and patterns
  • Launch, manage, and report results from our annual employee engagement survey
  • Develop and implement people analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making


People Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field, with a focus on data analysis or statistics
  • 5-7+ years of experience in people analytics or a related field, with related program and people management experience, and a proven track record of success
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with SQL and other data analysis tools (Python, R, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
  • Pure People Analytics: Be able to run employee engagement surveys end-to-end, analyze findings, and craft a compelling and clear story for an executive audience
  • Pure People Analytics: Be able to analyze HR data, and summarize into quarterly exec-level reports that make the organization health of Verily clear
  • Project Management: Excellent Project Management skills → keeping work moving forward, stakeholder communication, partnering with many cross-functional partners.


People Analyst Preferred Experience:

  • Masters Degree in business administration, human resources, data analytics, or another relevant field
  • Passion for using data to drive organizational improvement and a deep understanding of how people analytics can be used to support strategic decision-making
  • BI/Data: Experience with Workday Reporting & Dashboarding
  • BI/Data: Strong BI and data manipulation skills (data conversion, data validation, etc.) to feed into a new HRIS


The hourly pay rate range for this position is $57.01 to $89.08 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
