The Role:
We’re seeking a Medical Assistant who is eager to support our talented NP, Laura, in expanding the functional wellness side of our practice while also enjoying the vibrant medspa environment. In this part-time position, you’ll play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting in the growth of our wellness services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and conduct initial assessments
- Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care
- Follow up with patients on lab results and prescriptions
- Perform blood draws, collect patient blood pressure, weight and handle other medical tasks
- Make follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and adherence
- Assist Laura in growing our functional wellness services
- Enjoy and participate in all the exciting aspects of our medspa offerings
Qualifications:
- 2+ Medical Assisting, Patient Care, and Medical Office skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Records management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a medical setting is preferred
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting
- Experience in Charm is a plus
